Grace Kukri House – Authentic and functional — crafted entirely by hand in Kathmandu, Nepal. This handmade long kukri Bowie is crafted by skilled bladesmiths at Grace Kukri House (Khukuri Craft Pvt. Ltd.) in Kathmandu, Nepal. Designed for real-world use in hunting, survival, and outdoor scenarios, this long-blade machete is a powerful and reliable cutting tool — not just for display. Hand-forged with 5160 high-grade carbon steel sourced from recycled leaf springs, hardened to 58–60 HRC, carefully tempered, and meticulously balanced for strength, durability, and edge retention. This Bowie arrives very sharp and ready for action — an essential tool for adventurers, collectors, outdoor enthusiasts, hunters, and a meaningful gift.

Key Features:

  • Blade: 13 inches, semi-polished, made from 5160 high-grade carbon steel (leaf spring), heat-treated and tempered for durability
  • Handle: 6 inches, full tang, made from rosewood with cross-hatch grip pattern — strong grip and excellent balance
  • Blade Width (belly): Approx. 65 mm (6.5 cm)
  • Blade Thickness (spine): Approx. 6 to 7 mm (0.6 to 0.7 cm)
  • Hardness: Edge hardened to 58–60 HRC for superior edge retention
  • Scabbard: Handmade from cottonwood, wrapped in genuine brown buffalo leather (brown) with red lacing detail

Care & Maintenance:

  • Always handle with caution and use proper protective gear — this is a sharp tool
  • Apply light oil or blade lubricant monthly or after use
  • Avoid touching the blade with bare fingers after oiling
  • For storage: oil thoroughly, wrap in an airtight plastic cover, and store outside the scabbard
  • Keep dry and at room temperature
