Ltd.) in Kathmandu, Nepal. The name Tinchira refers to the three distinctive fullers (grooves) running along the blade — a hallmark of this iconic design that reduces weight while maintaining strength. Designed for real-world outdoor and utility use including camping, hiking, and field tasks. Hand-forged with 5160 high-grade carbon steel (vehicle leaf springs), hardened to 58–60 HRC, carefully tempered, and meticulously balanced for strength, durability, and edge retention. The signature notch (Kaudi) near the blade’s hilt serves a traditional purpose: it prevents moisture from running onto the handle during outdoor use. This kukri arrives sharpened and ready for use — an essential tool for adventurers, collectors, outdoor enthusiasts, and a meaningful gift.
